Word World Cake

In a world where letters come alive, so can cake!  Word World is a fun show played on PBS, and this fondant covered cake is a take off it with cute intricate characters.   The base is single layer 8" square, and the "cake" layer is 4" double stacked.

3 tier Wedding, orchid


This was the 2nd fondant covered cake I ever made, starting the Summer of 2010.  I jumped into the deep end right from the start and continue to love to challenge myself to do and be better.

~ 3-tier cake wrapped in double ribbon, accented by synthetic orchids, detialed with a scroll pattern out of royal icing, and 3D mono chromatic flowers centered with edible pearl icing.

Dora Topsy Turvey Cake
