I call this The Sir Richard

Fondant covered and decorated with navy blue ruffles and silver hand painted touches.  The addition of a white damask pattern and an oversized rosette pulls this elegant cake together to be fit for a king. ;)

Birchwood Winter Wedding

This cake brought a lot of new challenges (though they all seem to in one way or another).  It is 100% edible.  I love the way this one turned out.

Classic Meets Modern

Buttercream 10",8", 6" butter cream cake with a chunky piped scroll pattern.  The edible flowers are hand-made out of gumpaste-fondant mixture.  I love the glitter gold leaf accent request for this wedding cake.

Modern Hawaiian Elegance

Colors of the wedding were mint and silver with a subtle Hawaiian flavor, trimmed with lace.  These handmade flowers are edible with fondant/gum paste and can be saved a keepsakes over the decades.  All cake, including this modern design can be customized to your interests.

Ever After High Colors

My little niece saw this cake design on Pinterest and just had to have it.  It was a fun challenge to try to duplicate, but with a few personal touches (the I being a key for instance).  8" double stacked base tier with a 4" double stacked off center metallic gold top tier.  Roses are edible.
Happy Birthday Emmy.

Tapered Square Wedding

This butter cream covered cake has a 12" bottom and 10" top tier--each tier triple stacked to create its tall shape.  It is very heavy and feeds an army.  It had to be at least 50 lbs with butter cream between each layer and 2 coverings. Both tiers are tapered down to create a whimsical and visually interesting wedding cake.  The shimmery turquoise polk-a-dots add to the effect, along with being accented by purple fondant-rolled roses.

I love creating a professional-looking wedding cake that is customary to the bride's vision.  Bring on the next challenge!
