Paisley Wild - Smash Cake
There was a one year old little girl having a photo shoot for her birthday picture. Her mom sent me a picture of the dress she'd be wearing and said I'm not picky, anything will be f
ine. Although I enjoy having creative liberty, it does stress me out and take me twice as long to design and create. All in all, this wild and quirky paisley look turned out to be one of my favorite results, once you match it up with the bright colors and swirly pattern of the little girl's dress.

Billowing Smash Cake
Fondant billowing on this cake makes for a fun sophisticated design. Oversized balls turns the design more masculine to fit a little boys first birthday photo shoot.

Vintage Ombre - butter cream
Thanks for the beautiful picture...courtesy of Emily Jones, The Sweetest Moments Photography
This elevated smash cake was created for a 1 year old girl's photo shoot. I followed a standard Omber design (the pink shading variation) with ruffle lace layers. An edible brooch made of fondant is placed off-centerd.

Above is the picture of the little outfit I was given to match. So cute!
