Ladybugs in Grass Cake

This cake was made for baby shower, though it can be for any ladybug themed event.  Fondant is used to cover and decorate with.  This much fondant can still be yummy. 

The only instruction I was given was to follow a ladybug theme, two-tiers and serving amount, and to create a shock-factor cake.  That's a tall order :).  I enjoy being given liberties as well as picture of other cakes to follow exactly--as long as you get the product you want, we're both happy.

Lace Flowers Heart Cake

 Fondant covered double stacked heart-shape cake with an elegant lace flower design made with royal icing cascading down the side.   

Notice the cake itself can be played up -- flavor or colors.  This cake was for a birthday party a day before Valentines, so we did a neapolitan cake and ice cream (mostly because the little girl couldn't decide between chocolate and vanilla).

 This is a large individual size cake to look like a puppy.  The lil' pooch is made with buttercream. 

Strawberry Shortcake - edible pictures

An edible picture designs can be placed on any cake or cupcake for all genders, ages, and themes.  Almost any digital picture can be turned into an edible sugar sheet (copyrigt laws apply).  Please send a digital picture to my e-mail address 2 weeks prior to the arranged cake pick-up date.  Price of sheet is in addition to the cake costs.

Diamond Pattern Cake

The diamond and circle pattern makes this 6" round cake look sophisticated and contemporary. It is covered in a smooth butter cream and the design uses royal icing. Beautifully fresh gerber daisies complete the look, being placed on top. This Individual Size cake is perfect for that thoughtful gift.  It is a fondant covered 4" round single layer cake.  I call it an individual serving size, but it would take more than one sitting for sure to complete.
